On October 23rd, Wildstang attended the 2018 ASSEMBLY Show. To quote their website, \u201c<\/span>The ASSEMBLY Show is focused exclusively on assembly technology equipment and products.  Uncover new resources, experience equipment hands-on, evaluate the latest technologies and products and connect face-to-face with industry experts.<\/span>\u201d <\/span>Five students and two mentors attended what is usually a show open only to adults in the trade.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chris, a mechanical subteam member, speaks of the event excitedly, describing how \u201c<\/span>WildStang got interviewed by the district media program about what <\/span>FIRST<\/span><\/i> was and what we do. I really did enjoy driving the robot and telling people about what the robot does.\u201d He also enjoyed working with FRC Team 2451, <\/span>PWNAGE, <\/span>and interacting with their robot more on a small scale. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Chris, along with other team members, were also able to talk with professionals from Bosch-Rexroth, Fanuk, and Weber.<\/span><\/p>\n

WildStang learned a lot about what the ASSEMBLY show is and about assembly technology. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As Josiah describes the ASSEMBLY show, \u201cIt is a manufacturing trade conference specifically focused on assembling products automatedly. WildStang attended because we were invited by PWNAGE and because it is a good way to get our name out there.\u201d  WildStang had an enjoyable and engaging time working with PWNAGE, exhibiting our robot, and informing attendees about <\/span>FIRST. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
