In total, 46,872 meals were packed, enough to feed 128 children for a year! Everyone there worked very well together and packed efficiently, in total packing more than $10,000 worth of food.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-9 col-xs-12 col-sm-12\">\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children also proved to be a valuable exercise in teamwork. Groups of 5-10 volunteers \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hand-packed rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped.\u201d<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students had to be organized in the packing process, working together to pack all of the meals possible in our limited time.
