During class on December second, WildStang students had a great opportunity to attend two panels filled with WildStang alumni. The panels included anything that the students wanted to ask the panelists. The night consisted of two hour-long panels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Many students had questions about college and the application process and also about what WildStang was like on the team. The alumni answered all the questions to the best of their ability. The current students learned a lot about the workforce, internships, college, and other options. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

All the alumni that attended are going on with their lives, WildStang is so proud to call them alumni of the team. Several alumni are now teachers and credited it to the mentors that they had and the student mentoring activities that WildStang offered. Other alumni are in the STEM field and work all around the country. The current and past team members connected over their love WildStang and robotics.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Panelists spoke about some of the best parts of WildStang; mentioning the animation team, which no longer exists, and going to Epcot for the World Championship, which is now in Houston or Detroit.  Many changes were made throughout the 25 years of WildStang, and yet some things never change. The love of teammates and robotics has never wavered. The goal of WildStang is to grow their students into hardworking students and then workers, and from these panels, it is clear that the goal is being surpassed.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
