KICK OFF PREVIEW
Kickoff ignites the start of the 2020 FIRST® Robotics Competition season, INFINITE RECHARGESM. Teams from around the galaxy will gather online to watch the game reveal and celebrate the upcoming challenges, heart-pounding thrills, and perseverance of the season ahead.
WildStang will meet as a team, Saturday January 4th & 5th at Elk Grove High School to watch the Game Reveal, discuss the games rules, develop our teams strategy and start design designing a winning robot.
Saturday, January 4th-8:30am-5:00pm: FIRST Robotics 2020 Game Kickoff

- Doors will be open at 8:00am, with the broadcast starting at 9:00am
- Students – Be here by 8:30am
- Sign in when you arrive! The sign in sheet will be located outside of the theater.
- We will be in the main theater, located in the middle of the school
- Enter Door 1 with parking available along the front of the building
- Lunch is provided by the WildStang Robotics Support Association.
Schedule of the Day
- 8:30am – Sign in and settle into the theater
- 8:45am – Welcome Back!
- 9:00am – 11:30pm – Broadcast begins, with game reveal and game rules to follow
- 11:30pm – 12:30pm : Lunch in the cafeteria
- 12:30pm – 5:00pm: Robot Design breakout sessions
- 5:00pm : End of the Kickoff
Parents, please join your students! This is a great opportunity to learn this years challenge and learn what your child will be doing during Spring Semester/Build Season.
There will be a parent social following the game reveal in the Foyer Conference Room, hosted by the WildStang Robotics Support Association

- January 5th is an optional day. However, we always encourage students to participate
- During this time, our team focuses on the objectives that we want to accomplish and discussion various robot designs that can accomplish these goals.
