Welcome to the 2018-2019 WildStang Robotics Team. If you are new to this program, welcome! We are excited to have you on the team. If you are a returning member of the team, welcome back! We have a fantastic group of returning students and parents, so we’re anticipating this being another great year for the team.
The first official meeting for the team this year will be Monday, August 20th. The class meets from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM at MacArthur Middle School. You will be able to enter and leave through the front of the building. There will be a sign-in sheet for attendance every night, so be sure to sign in before heading off to the separate groups. Please have your son/daughter at class on time since we start promptly at 6:00 with announcements and assignments for the upcoming week. If you will be absent from class for any reason, please send an email to both Mr. Wong (email@example.com) and Mr. Fenzel (firstname.lastname@example.org). Since this is a graded class, we must report attendance and we need to keep our records accurate.
The annual cookout for the team will be on Monday, August 27th starting at 6:00 PM. All students, parents, and families are invited. We will be grilling at MacArthur Middle School for food and fellowship. It’s a great way to get the year started and it gives everyone a chance to get to know the rest of the team, as well as the teachers and mentors involved.
This year, we need several parents to step up and work with the WildStang Robotics Support Association. The WildStang Robotics Support Association is there to help run the team, fund raise, and support the team throughout the year. Parent participation will ensure the future success of the team.
I send group emails throughout the year to keep parents and students. If you would like to be removed from the list, or receive emails through a different email address, please send an email to email@example.com.
We are excited about this upcoming year for our team. As always, if you have questions, please feel free to contact me. I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
