Welcome to the 2019-2020 WildStang Robotics Team. If you are new to this program; Welcome! To all returning members of the team, Welcome back! There is a fantastic group of returning students and parents, combined with the new students and parents joining the team, we anticipate this being another great year!
The first official meeting/class is Monday, August 19th. Class meets from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM at MacArthur Middle School (700 Schoenbeck Road, Prospect Heights). Please drop your student at the front entrance of the building; students may enter and leave through the main door. Students are required to sign-in for attendance at every class meeting. Students should be sure to sign in before class begins. Class begins promptly at 5:30pm with announcements and assignments for the upcoming week; please drop your son/daughter off with enough time to sign in and be settled before class begins. If your student will be absent from class for any reason, please email Mr. Wong (email@example.com). This is a graded class, and attendance is reported per district’s policy.
The WildStang annual BBQ cookout is Monday, August 26th starting at 5:45 PM. Students are required to attend, and all parents/families are invited to join in, meet the teachers and mentors involved in the program and learn more about WildStang. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our parent support group WildStang Robotics Support Association (WRSA), assists in running the team, fundraising, and supporting the team throughout the year. Parent participation ensures the future success of the team. There are many ways you can help – see the attached for more information. You can sign up for various opportunities at the BBQ.
Our first fundraiser, FUNDrive, kicks off on August 26th. Raise funds by cleaning out your closets! Bring one bag (or more!) of donatable items to the BBQ – it’s that easy! See attached for more details.
